Bold yellow or red shoes, the wedges or the heels, big bangels, earrings, you can do a black purse or nice straw. You do not have to blend with flowers.
acessories

silver or black or white bangles or a thick bracelet

black or white dangle bead earrings

hairstyle

bun with ringlets or hair down with black or white head band

shoes blaack or white strappy heels or pumps

good luck hope this helps!!!!!
Red Shoes would look really cute with a black and white polka dot dress. Then your colors tie in, I don't think anyone would notice the difference in the white and cream. If the dress is a halter then your hair should go up if not them wear it down, straight and maybe a cute little red flower in it. Have fun and don't worry too much!

What color shoes to match this cream dress?

what kind off shoes would you go for .brown gold. court or sandals . for cruise holiday.suggestions pleaseI have bought a lovely brown and pale cream voile material dress very smart?
Hej,

As it is a very smart dress, would it be for evening wear? If so how about a bronze coloured sling-back shoe, also a shoe that you can wear often with other clothes. Have a good trip.I have bought a lovely brown and pale cream voile material dress very smart?
Cream sandals or sling backs would look good. Just be comfortable.

Lucky you, a cruise!!!! Where are you sailing to and when do you leave?

Not chatting, just expanding my answer.........
Brown or beige shoes for all the socialising

  • My prom dress is a light cream color what shoes and jewlery should i wear?

the fabric on my dress is kind of like a silk material.

i was thinking a color that would stick out for my shoes like a royal

blue or red... but im not sure.

HELPMy prom dress is a light cream color what shoes and jewlery should i wear?
i would try maybe a marroon or garnet type of color. I think that would look very pretty. My prom dress is a light cream color what shoes and jewlery should i wear?
Its hard to judge without seeing the dress itself. If you want to stay on the safe side, I would stick with shoes the same color as the dress. Otherwise maybe go with a wild leopard print shoe or something! If you want shoes that stick out just make sure you keep close to the same color scheme as the dress. Golds, browns, that kind of thing because cream is a hard color to do the whole ';wow'; factor with. As far as jewelry i would think any warm color would look good. I'm partial to gold because I think it has that goddess-like appeal but you could also choose to do your jewelry in a funky, crazy color like lime green or bright pink!
a fab colour would be gold, is would look amazing. red and blue will clash and look weird, but i have the most amazing t-bar gold stillettos. some gold earrings and a gold bracelet, maybe a gold clutch bag would look great. it would be sohisticated.

what maybe also a try is black shoes and bag, with gold jewelry. Dont wear a necklace aswell, it could look too overdone and crowded.yellow and silver may look a bit weird, so try and avoid those!. have fun!
    lavender shoes, handbag, %26amp; pearls!
i agree a maroon color would contrast well with light cream.
try fancy gold shoes and jewerly
Yellow...it's the biggest color this spring!! And some sort of gold jewelry.
i think you should wear silver jewellery ... but i dont know on the shoes though hmmm ....

Will Peach Corsage Look Good with Cream Prom Dress?

My son's date is wearing a cream color dress to the prom. I ordered a peach wrist corsage with a cream irredescent ribbon. Do you think this will look good? Will Peach Corsage Look Good with Cream Prom Dress?
    It sounds perfect!

Glad to see I am not the only mom in charge of ordering prom corsages! :)Will Peach Corsage Look Good with Cream Prom Dress?
    Yes:)
I always like peach with cream, but usually this looks best if the jewelry chosen is pearls. I think it'll be fine - you already ordered it, after all. If you can change it, perhaps ask the girl what her hairstyle will be and what her accessories are? Another good choice would be white roses. I know ';white'; roses sound like a bad choice for a cream dress, however the roses usually aren't pure white (they tend to be a little green towards the bottom and the petals are a soft, muted white) and it's extremely classic. Perhaps consult with the florist to see what sorts of flowers they use and what condition the flowers are in?

Will a cream color dress look good on olive skin?

I think it will. Any color dress will good on anybody. Just that some colors look better than others. So yes they would. Will a cream color dress look good on olive skin?

What color bridesmaid dress for a March wedding would look nice with pink and cream flowers?

I don't want to put them in a tacky color that they will never wear again...What color bridesmaid dress for a March wedding would look nice with pink and cream flowers?
pink or ivory would probably be your best choice. What color bridesmaid dress for a March wedding would look nice with pink and cream flowers?
Black...that's what I am going with...two piece..from David's Bridal (if you heard of them). Then you add a sash (ribbon around wherever you want them to wear it) of the color you choose, but it isn't sewn on, so then they have a black dress for all ocassions. Report Abuse

Truffle or a Pale Yellow would look gorgeous!
light green. sea blue. brown. purple.
Something in sage or light blue would be pretty.
A pastel yellow would look lovely with the pink and cream flowers. You could also have them in a light silvery color dress (just not shiny silver, think matte). A darker shade of blue would make the pink and cream flowers pop.
    A light green, like celery
Why not go with a light pink or peach dress? That would look great.
Celadon (light green), mint, sky blue and light pink would all look beautiful. Ask your maids what colors they like to wear.
Sage green...I was in one last year with a sage green dress, and I've worn the dress twice since then!
If you are looking for subtle, you should like dresses from a ivory or brown color scheme like: tan, mocha, stardust, buttercup or terecotta.

If you are looking for something that stands out a little bit more go with a oliven or raspberry.

    Good Luck and Happy Planning!
    pail pink
davids bridal has a really pretty green, clover. That is the color of my dresses and my colors are pink and brown
peach? or mix peach in the flowers. i have pink, peach, and ivory flowers...soo pretty! the peach adds some extra pop.
    Champagne.

    http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_鈥?/a>
    Depending on the shade of pink I think a nice light brown/tan/champange would go nicely for March, especially if you go the ';muted'; route rather than bright. I think an earthtone shade like that would definately be worn again as long as the dresses themselves aren't ';typical bridesmaid style';

What colours go with a cream wedding dress?

my dress is cream with bronze for the boneing on the bodice. my bridesmaids dresses are bronze butnow im stuck for cake colour flower colour etc any help would be appreciated!!!What colours go with a cream wedding dress?
Just about anything will work with cream and bronze. Dark green, pale blue, some shades of red...I would suggest going to your local hardware store and picking up a paper paint sample in the color of your wedding dress, and one in the color of your bronze bridesmaids dresses....then take those two samples to the florist. See what colors/flowers compliment your paint samples, and show the samples to the florist for suggestions on arrangements.

    Good luck!

~KatWhat colours go with a cream wedding dress?
Just about any palette will work. You can even pick pinks or purples and it won't look pastel, since the bronze will make it richer.

The easier way, in my opinion, is to go into your florist with swatches of the bronze %26amp; cream. Have the florist help you hold up various combinations (and advise you what will be in season when you're married).

There is no substitute for actually seeing how the flowers look against the dresses. Everything else can follow.
Cream is neutral, you can choose whatever colours you like, what is your favourite colour? What's your fiance's favourite colour? You could always go to a florist with a sample of your material and hold it against flowers against it to see what it looks like
You have a pretty open pallet. There are a lot of colors that go with both of those, try something bold and fun to make everything pop. Good luck!
Your dress sounds very beautiful and unique. Mine was champagne colored, flapper style, with lots of beading. My accent colors were gold and brick red. I would think brick red would also be pretty with copper...but if you're looking for a contrasting color, something in a deep turquoise would look very dramatic. A rich olive green would also be nice for fall...

Look how the colors work together...

Go with rusts, bronzes, golds and olive green.
I think a pale peach would be the most complimentary to both ivory and bronze.
apricots, topazey colours, tans, beiges, coppers, hues from the yellow, brown and orange family obviously in the subtler forms

  • Can I wear a white wedding dress when evrything else is cream?

My wedding colors are diffrent shades of blue with a cream a base(table clothes, and chair covers are cream with blue trim as well as the invite, place cards and table numbers).. the problem is that i bought a white dress with a blue sash! will this look horrible? suggestions please!!!!Can I wear a white wedding dress when evrything else is cream?
I'm no expert, but I know what I like, and when I imagine you in a white dress with a blue sash among a background with blue and cream, I see a lovely deam. Go for it!

And I wish you and your lucky spouse a long life and much happiness. Can I wear a white wedding dress when evrything else is cream?
I think it will look absolutely beautiful. The ancient Romans thought of white as a color of joy (the whole purity thing didn't come about 'til the Victorian era), and that's exactly what your wedding day should be. A day of absolute joy!

My wedding colors were blue, red, and silver, but we had gold colored napkins, and I wore a white dress, and my hubby wore his kilt, and his family's tartan has 7 different colors in it, and he wore a brass torque.

While the matching of everything in the wedding is traditional, the bride is supposed to stand out, and you shouldn't blend in with anything! You are going to look absolutely beautiful, trust me.

Congratulations, and may the two of you have many happy years together!
No it won't look horrible. First of all you're the bride. You can stand on your head in a thong and no one will say anything because it's your day. Second, you're supposed to look unique and radiant and if white works for your skin tone, then why would you change and risk looking less fantastic than you should? If you're really concerned I know there are some people who dye their dresses, but I've heard some horror stories so beware.
Of course that's okay! White is traditionally the bridal color, no matter what other colors you have.

Our colors were royal blue and cream (with green and gold accents) and I wore a white dress (bridesmaids wore royal blue). Everything looked great and I guarantee no one will even notice! They'll be too busy looking at YOU!
    No, it will be fine.

Remember that everything does not have to be matchy, matchy. It will still look lovely, if bride is in white.
I think it will look great.

You will stand out but not in a bad way.

You will blend with the blue.

Trust me, I know you will get a lot of nice compliments.

    Good Luck and Congratulations.
it will look good- trust me =)

my wedding dress was cream and everything else was white (so i had the opposite problem)

but in ALL my wedding photos my dress looked white...

I think the cream of everything else will really make your dress pop. It sounds lovely.
The white dress will be stunning against the cream and blues.
    It will be fine.
You will look fine. It is your day!
    that is ok!

I tried to get a pink stain out of a cream dress with bleach and it's ruined.?

Do you think I can dye it another color? and if so, has anyone had any success in doing this? and what color and type of dye? I don't want to turn that color if I sweat in that dress!!I tried to get a pink stain out of a cream dress with bleach and it's ruined.?
You won't have any success. You'll end up with a different colored spotted dress.

The bleached out area will accept the dye differently than the body of the dress.I tried to get a pink stain out of a cream dress with bleach and it's ruined.?
Depends on the fabric. Also, the bleach on the dress may affect the dye. Consult with a dry cleaner, taylor, or bridal shop before you try.
have you tried letting it sit for a while with shaving cream on it and then washing it again? i know it works for carpets too and i use it all the time with stains. good luck
Thintex Permant dies work very well just follow the instructions on the package.
    ooooh.

the best option at this point would be to dye ita dark brown, navy or black to hide everything.

    yes you can.

Would never have been my choice of colors but it should be okay - the tan matches the brown, I guess. Navy is somewhat neutral but....they should have chosen one less color for the wedding party! Tan %26amp; White is much nicer or Navy %26amp; White...Will a brown dress with a tan hat and a navy blazer with cream pants clash? Does the color combination work?
Wait, are you wearing the blazer and pants? If your guy is wearing that and your wearing the dress and hat...it'll match fine. If your planning on wearing all that.....i recommend not wearing all those layers. Plz pick me for best answer.
Technically they're both neutrals so you should be fine.

What colour shoes with a black semiformal dress - it has a small section of laced cream material near neckline?

I have black shoes but am wondering whether this would be too much black. Am also considering going for another colour - perhaps a deep purple or a ruby red. Does anyone have any ideas for what accessories would best suit some of these styles?

The dress is knee-length, simple, tight at the waist but then goes straight down, a V-neck.

Thanks everybody. What colour shoes with a black semiformal dress - it has a small section of laced cream material near neckline?
if you're wearing a black dress then you could make it look very elegant by wearng gold jewellery and then accentuate that by wearing gold shoes...black and gold look great together...

Another thing you could do is to match it up with silver chunky jewellery and then black and silver shoes...

If you wear another colour e.g. purple then black shoes will look fine..and same goes for the red...red shoes on a red dress will look too predictable!

hope i helped..go for the black and gold...it looks gorgeous...just make sure the gold isnt too flashy...should be matte goldWhat colour shoes with a black semiformal dress - it has a small section of laced cream material near neckline?
wear black shoes, but with a peep-toe or strappy so it's not a solid block of black

try and find a black clutch (preferably different texture) with gold detailing to glam up your outfit and to match your lace detailing and a nice cocktail ring :)

depending on how you do your hair and the overall look you're trying to achieve, a gold necklace or several delicate gold necklaces layered for a glam look or some delicate strands of pearls for a more refined look
Okay you could wear dark purple high heels. Then some black or dark purple earrings. The bracelets would be really simple like some bangles. The colors would be white. Then for a necklace you could a really long one that is gold or purple. Then that would be an awesome outfit!Hope I helped!
please wear black. as long as theres some texture to the material, they should be fine.
Red Shoes. White you will look like a zebra. Yellow you will look like a bee. So don't choose yellow or white . Well its my opinion so do what you feel best with! =)
ruby red would look good and it would bring in a little color
    yeah

It is not disrespectful but it may be considered to be inappropriate to the occasion. Try to wear a dark, subdued color. It doesn't have to be black but it should be dark.Is wearing a cream dress to a funeral disrespectful? It has black designs on it.?
No, of course not. As long as you look nice and respectful, and not in some lovely bright yellow sundress, you should be fine. After all, it has black designs on it. And I'm very sorry for you, since you had obviously known someone who passed away..Is wearing a cream dress to a funeral disrespectful? It has black designs on it.?
i don't think so. I wore a bright yellow shirt to a funeral. I figured that the person who died was a happy person and they wouldn't be offended. I think the wearing black thing is kind of dumb anyway.
Some traditionalists think you must wear black. However, I prefer allowing visitors to wear what they are comfortable in. So for me it would not bother. For your next door neighbor, who knows.

    blue, white, black, and silver!
just make it fun.... you can wear green shoes if you coordinated them in with jewelry, purse, etc... just have fun with it and be comfortable.
What is the dominant color? Which ever you pick try and have a purse to match. If you are going to wear stockings, make them neutral for the navy shoes or off-white with the cream shoes. Don't forget to let your accessories compliment the whole look.

I think a gold and a chocolate brown would be great! Gold in the inner corners and the chocolate in the crease.

If you want your eyes to be emphasized then go for darker shades. Dark blue eye shadow looks really interesting with light shaded dresses.

Brides-- how would you feel if someone wore a navy sheath dress, that had a few cream flowers at the top?

I found this great dress for a wedding next month, but I am paranoid about wearing anything that might upset the bride. It is a short, navy blue dress that has some cream flowers clustered at the top. All in all, the cream probably makes up about 1/5 of the dress. Thanks for the help!Brides-- how would you feel if someone wore a navy sheath dress, that had a few cream flowers at the top?
I think you're overthinking this. Wear the dress and have fun. The bride I'm sure won't even notice much less make a remark that your dress has cream flowers on it.Brides-- how would you feel if someone wore a navy sheath dress, that had a few cream flowers at the top?
as long as the dress isn't more than 50% white/taupe/ivory/cream/beige or any other light color that could be confused with white. a few flowers at the top is fine if the rest of the dress is blue. last year I wore a totally hot cocktail dress with a white strapless top and black skirt to a wedding and it was fine. I'll never fit into it again though...
That sounds perfectly fine. If the bride has a problem with it, she's a huge bridezilla.

I had a friend who wore a white dress that had purple flowers on it to my wedding and I certainly didn't through a fit. Everyone knows who the bride is.
It's only poor etiquette to wear a dress that resembles the bride's in color. Unless she is wearing a navy dress for some reason, I think you're safe.
    I think you are paranoid.

Wear the dress, I'm sure you'll look great. If the bride has a fit about it, I think she may have some deeper problems no one has addressed.
that sounds very classy and appropriate for an evening wedding. Your not wearing all cream/white and the navy will be the main color.
God, what kind of society has the public scrutiny created that would make someone worry about wearing a navy blue dress?!

Of course, the dress is fine!
Don't sweat it. Wear the dress in good health.
That dress is fine! Take a breath! You're only in trouble if you wear an ALL white dress... it's just impolite.
Its good to be overly cautious, but I think you are 110% safe with this choice. Go for it.

Make-up with a black and cream dress?

What sort of make-up should be worn with a plain black dress that has a cream silk belt/sash? The girl in question has pale skin with slightly rosy cheeks, medium brown hair, and hazel eyes. The occasion is a cocktail party amongst friends, the guests are all about sixteen/seventeenMake-up with a black and cream dress?
--use a powder foundation or a cream to powder foundation that is one shade slightly darker that your skin probably ivory or the color shade above it. Make sure it will blend in with your neck!

--pink-tone blush, --violet or dark brown eyeliner,

-- white eye shadow up to brow line, light pink shade on lids and gray or brown shadow on corners and crease of the eyes. --- any lipstick other than a bright pink, red or orange tone would work. I would probably use a glossy pink or lavander/berry colored lipstick. Use powder with brush to go over face when the look is complete and use an eye shadow brush to go over the eye lids after applying the shades. This will make it blemd together.

Remember, you are wearing black and that lends to just about any color palet. So choose a look and go for it. If you would rather be more intense then you may want to choose a different color eyeshadow for the lids and a deeper lipstick like red. It is up to you. My initial suggestion is just what I would wear. I would recommend practicing with different applications before the big event to see what looks best on you. Plus you can get a free makeover at beauty stores to see what color tones enhance your skin and bring out your natural beauty. Have fun!! :)Make-up with a black and cream dress?
a little blush, pink eyeshadow to bring out your eyes, and some light pink shimmery gloss, not to much though. you'll look great!!! a little bit of mascara won't hurt, you don't need to though.
    lite make-up
make up should complement the person wearing it and not the outfit
    Neutrels with a brighter lipstick
Lavender eyeshadow will make your eyes stand out more. Also, I like wearing a very dark brown eyeliner around my eyes with the outside corners pointy - I get lots of compliments. Curl your lashes and apply black mascara.

If you're wearing lipstick, don't make it stand out as much as your eyes. Wear a cute lip gloss or something - slightly red.

A little pink blush sounds like it'd be cute on you, too.

    Perfect.

P.S. Make sure your hair doesn't cover your face, so everyone can see how beautiful you are.
wear frosted red lipstick and pearl eyeshadow. not too much of either or you'll look goth. use a black eyeliner( again, not much) and your normal brush and your set!
I would go with something very soft and natural. And if the guests are 16 and 17, it is not a cocktail party
I have green eyes and with a black dress I love the pink eyeshadow but I would add a hint of green or purple/violet on the corners using the half moon method. Closing your eye and touching the middle of where your eye socket is I would start there with the green or purple and bring in down to my lashes in a C or %26lt; shape. Then blend well so it doesn't show any lines. Just a little to bring out the color of your eyes and then light color lip gloss and definitely a little mascara especially if you have long eyelashes.
    natural colors
Go for the Audrey Hepburn look. Beige eye shadow, arched brows, black eyeliner (top only) ending in an upward style, soft blush, red lips.
I have a suggestion....ALMAY makes eyeshadow liner and mascara that coordinates with each specific eye color...now looking at the colors they choose mite look a little different but trust me i have green eyes and my sister has blue ... both of us have been complimented on our eyes quite a few times since wearing this...it's nice because the colors the choose enhance your eyes not your clothes so they seem to work with any colors we wear...and they are not very expensive and that's nice too...lol! Have fun!!
go for the 'natural' look. foundation and a little blush and lip gloss, even a lip gloss with a a tint in it. No lipstick jus gloss with a tint. for the eyes use little eye shadow and colours that accent ur colour
Brush iridescent cream all over the eyelid (highlighting the brow bone), then charcoal liner subtly at the corners, with a pearl/grey shadow brushed right above the lashes. Berry gloss with a deeper liner, and a coordinating blush just over the cheekbones to highlight your own rosy skin.

OK so I already asked about black but is it ok to wear a cream colored dress with black lace to a wedding?

I'm sure the dress is really pretty, but I don't think it's okay. It's always a big NO NO to wear white to another person's wedding, and I think cream is pushing it a little. I say wear something colourful and I think black is acceptable.OK so I already asked about black but is it ok to wear a cream colored dress with black lace to a wedding?
yepp yepp!OK so I already asked about black but is it ok to wear a cream colored dress with black lace to a wedding?

    yes..that would look very pretty!

What colour shoes should you wear if your dress is black with a cream bodice?

I wanted to wear cream but i having a hard time finding some. I was thinking maybe gold. I don't know what are your thoughts? What colour shoes should you wear if your dress is black with a cream bodice?
It depends upon the look you're going for. Sophisticated: wear shoes that match the bottom part of the dress. Cream is a very fashionable look. Gold or silver are jazzier party looks. Now if you want to be really unique, go with a bright color. I think that red or turquoise patent leather would look great with the black and cream. What colour shoes should you wear if your dress is black with a cream bodice?
    black is always safe
don't wear cream colored shoes...! that would look odd and unattractive...it depends...on the style but the safest way to go is to get a black pump.
i would say black or gold... not cream. wish I cud have a look at the dress =)

good luck sweetie, on finding the right shoe colour~
NOT GOLD!!! lol srry. Try these

i dunno if those would match but cream would be very pretty try zappos or solestruck..bakersshoes may even have some.

or maybe all black would work...its classic
cream is actually a pretty easy color to find... check all the shoe stores in the mall. if you cant find any, then wear silver or gold.
black would be the number one choice..when in doubt, wear black.
Well personally for me i like to make my utfits stand out. so for you wear a red hell. that will make your outfit very interesting
i'd wear black ones. that's the safe choice.

gold could be nice though if your accenting jewelry is gold for a little metallic sparkle.
    black
    cream colored shoes!!
solid black shoes, but then again cream is cute!
Black shoes, the cream on your dress. or a bold splash of red. and have accesories to match it.

Is it appropriate to wear a cream and black (primarily cream) color dress to to a wedding?

The ceremony starts at 4:00PM and the reception at 5:00PMIs it appropriate to wear a cream and black (primarily cream) color dress to to a wedding?
Why not? just never wear white! Is it appropriate to wear a cream and black (primarily cream) color dress to to a wedding?
I went to a wedding last night and wore a black top with a white skirt. There were other people who also showed up in the same colors as me. You will be fine in cream and black. Unless it states otherwise on the invitation, you're free to wear whatever color you'd like.
if it looks cute wear it but if it looks better then the brides dress then no
    yes....
The only color you really aren't supposed to wear is white. However, IMO, if the bride is wearing cream or the bridesmaid's might be in cream, I'd choose another color to wear.

    Good luck! :)
Yes as long as not too much cleavage and not too shprt,

exspecially if its in a chruch
ya i think its fine just as long as you dont look better then the bride!
there was actually something on MSN about that today. White, or shades of white, including cream, should never be worn to a wedding, because you dont want to outshine the bride. If its the only nice dress you have, and it wont make you outshine the bride, then it should be ok, but if you have other options, i would go for that... If it was primarily black with cream accents it would be acceptable.
Yes, as long as it isn't floor length. Save the formal for after 6 - but cream and black is fine.
    Sure, sounds great!
cream would be ok just not white!! cream and black look really nice and classy together i think. have fun and catch the flowers if ur not married yet!!
It depends who is wearing what? For the groom black/grey and formals, for the bride then she can wear cream, although this may suggest that she is not a first time bride (perhaps married once before???).

with an ivory dress, you could do just about anything.

nude shoes are really spot-on this season, as are brights.

you could definitely wear purple or red like others suggested, but blue, green, yellow, orange, or pretty much any other color would go.

as for metallics, i used to be all for them, but i've kinda moved on. and by the way, never be afraid to mix metallics! i do it constantly and it often looks better than being super matchy matchy.

    hope i helped!
Anything is good, I love the gold idea btw, just try and stay away from matching it perfectly with the dress.

You might even want to go with a deeper nude color... if you do, don't do it in satin, or other cloth fabrics... go with leather or patent leather.
    cream,

    silver,

    yellow,

if you wear colored jewelry, whatever color that the jewlery is will accent it.

like say you wear a blue bracelet, get the same color blue shoes. but not toooo crazy colored.

Black stones or colored?I have a dress that has a cream top and is black from the waste down. What type of jewelry should i wear? HELP?
You should put up a picture or your dress to get a better idea

By the way, love the fact that your dress isn't all white.

I hate wedding dresses that are white, off-white and ivory colored.

But yours sounds gorgeous. I would go with some black stones to help compliment the bottom half of your dress. I would go with one strand of mid-length stone necklace. You can find them by the brand Candies at Kohl's. Gold or silver would be okay and pearls will make you look more older than elegant with your dress. Buy some black stones and put them on with your dress. If it doesnt look right kohl's is really good with returns and they have a ton of jewelry.

    Don't worry too much.

What color corsage for cream and black prom dress?

My dress is a creamy lace color with black lace on the top. It's bcbg but i can't find a picture online. What color corsage should I wear? and what color boutonniere should I get my date, he's wearing black and white.

and just wondering what color shoes and nail polish do you think goes? What color corsage for cream and black prom dress?
Tending towards fawn shades otherwise its dark reds or dark purple would be in between these.

What color accessories and shoes should i wear with a black pink and cream dress?

    white or black

  • What do you feel about off white (cream) sweater dress, brown belt with a silver buckle and a gray boots?

I cant find a nice brown boots to match. and i've always hear if you cant match it. go to the opposite. liek wearing red shoes so it stands out, what do you think dark gray and cream/ brown color?? or any iother color to suggest? i dont think black goes well

thank you! What do you feel about off white (cream) sweater dress, brown belt with a silver buckle and a gray boots?
Honestly, I think that sounds AHDORABLE. I've done it before, so I know it looks cute. And if other people don't like it, then they can leave you alone. You work it girl! What do you feel about off white (cream) sweater dress, brown belt with a silver buckle and a gray boots?
I would have to say that I am not sold on the gray boots. Could you either switch the belt and boots to black, find a gray belt to go with the boots, or what is probably most fashionable, wear the cream with the gray boots but find a belt in a lively color to wear?

I have noticed in a lot of fashion magazines that women who are wearing neutrals tend to use one bright, colorful accessory and the rest of the accessories are neutral, or at least are less bright than the one colorful accessory. If you have a nice waist, then putting the color there will accentuate the positive! Just keep the bag neutral or muted if you are going with a colorful belt!
I like the outfit except for the silver buckle. Do you have anything with a gold buckle? You need a warm clor to match your outfit.

What can I wear with cream linen pants to dress them up?

They are kind of hipsters with a drawstring waist and the only cap I have to wear with them is a military style and colour cap for my sisters beach wedding. What colour and style top or accessories do you recommend? What can I wear with cream linen pants to dress them up?
lets see.. a light pastel colored shirt would match or even just white. do not wear a cap! i would definitley reccommend pearls! What can I wear with cream linen pants to dress them up?
    teal ..

Would red nail varnish look good with a cream and navy dress?

I'm going to a katy perry concert tomorrow, and want to look casual but dressy. So i've got a cream and blue dress which i will probably dress down to look quite indie style. my shoes will be either browny or silvery. what nail varnish would look best? i like the red look haa, i wanna look stylish, so any idea? :)Would red nail varnish look good with a cream and navy dress?
red nails will look great! Go for it.Would red nail varnish look good with a cream and navy dress?
You will look perfect!! :) Your avartar is very beautiful and would go perfect for you!!

What makeup should I wear to go with my cream/red dress?

I'm wearing a strapless, form-fitting dress that could even be described as chinese looking.

It has big venetian red flowers (well...flower type things) and a cream...background? I was told by some to wear a maroon/pink eyeshadow combination, but I'm not so sure...which colours might go well with this dress? What makeup should I wear to go with my cream/red dress?
    heres two choices...

you can wear maroon pink eyeshadow and go light on your lips with a nude colour. you can also try a babypink eyeshadow or one that is close to your dress colour, mum always tell me that my make up gotta match my clothes.

personally i'd suggest minimal eye make up.. maybe just a pearl colour with some eyeliner and mascara. concentrate on your lips with red lipstickWhat makeup should I wear to go with my cream/red dress?

I think a really neutral smokey eye with some winged out eyeliner and red lips would look amazing.
I say a smokey eye (black and grey shadiws) with a nude or red lip.

    Your dress sounds beautiful.
I think a goldish smokey eye would look really pretty

Im wearing a crimson dress with cream satin peep toes. What nail color? i was thinking dark red or gold?

red would look better -matches the dress!Im wearing a crimson dress with cream satin peep toes. What nail color? i was thinking dark red or gold?
Red matches the dress!Im wearing a crimson dress with cream satin peep toes. What nail color? i was thinking dark red or gold?
With the cream colored shoes you should stick to something light and natural. Nude, french tip, very soft pink.

Besides you don't want all the attention taken off your dress - - now do you?

    Good luck!
If I was going out with you, I'd buy you these these white Christian Louboutins instead of the cream satin peep toes.

Is it rude to wear a cream dress to a wedding.?!?!?

not if your the brideIs it rude to wear a cream dress to a wedding.?!?!?
you might outdo the bride. Is it rude to wear a cream dress to a wedding.?!?!?
    NO

    Why should it be?
It is considered rude as that is the colour the bride is wearing and it does take some focus off of her. I have to tell you, I went to a wedding a few weeks ago and the brides aunt wore a cream dress and a lot of people were talking about it saying how rude it was of her, so it does draw some attention away. If you really are stuck on wearing it, simply ask the bride and if she doesn't mind then it should be ok.
    nope...
It depends on the bride. It might be better to avoid cream or white or maybe get a shawl or something of a different colour to go over it?
listen to me....wear what ever you want, as long as it doesn't look like a traditional wedding dress. Some people say ';don't out do the bride'; I'm sure the bride will have better things on her mind, like the day going smoothly. It's not your fault you' will be looking good, that's just life.lol have fun and have a few drinks for me.
    Avoid cream or white.

    Don't spoil her day.
omg yes! don't wear anything remotely close to white! this is the bride's special day, not yours! plus everyone at the wedding will gossip about you all day and give you dirty looks and call you tacky. =]
Big mistake! Never ever wear white, cream, or ivory, as you will look too similar to the bride.

If you cant find another dress, then get a shawl or poncho in another colour like pale blue or pink and throw that on top.

If i were you, you need to find another dress to wear in a different colour. If you dont, you run the risk of people giving you dirty looks and falling out with nearly everyone.
just make sure it isn't gown. and don't steal the limelight from the bride rofl.

maybe knee-length dress, or maybe even shorter than knee length is possible.
It's very disrespectful towards the bride. Nobody wears white or any shades of beige at a wedding, it's a massive faux pas.
only if the bride is a stroppy cow
Not if it is shorter and properly accessorized. Avoid wearing anything that looks like a bridal gown. Also black and red are sometimes considered negative to wear.
    yeah.
it depends on ur relation with bride ,don't wear it if ur a close friend or family member..if not,u can wear it, u can add more colour with some accessories like a shawl or brooch or maybe a clutch bag %26amp; shoes with colour . good luck.
Not ruse, but some people think inappropriate. Depends on what the bride thinks though - is she old school or cool about stuff like that? Doesn't matte rwhat anyone else thinks. Only really old fashioned people that think that. To be on the safe side though, what about tying a red, pink or blue sash round it and wearing with that colour shoes and bag or if it's a winter wedding, a fitted jacket in a contrasting colour and shoes that match that. It's only hte all over cream think that some people think detracts from the bride.
I have heard this but I think most colours go these days, if its completely cream try accessorise with a different colour which will take the emphasis away! I have found that cream and black although it sounds borning actually looks really smart!!
Yes, I would have flipped out if someone wore white or cream to my wedding.

It is really rude, it is seen as trying to upstage the bride.
    only if its see through................
As long as you don't out do the bride.
i thought it was more rude 2 wear a white dress 2 some1s wedding
Pretty much, unless you are the mother of the bride.

You should avoid any shades close to white like cream, beige, etc.

Even though it is 2007 and some brides might even not be wearing a white dress themselves, the bride of the wedding your attending might not appreciate a cream dress very much.

Try asking this question in the etiquette section as well, to get more serious insight.
well i'de be offended. maybe if you mixed with some other colored accesorys, and also if the dress looks at all like a wedding dress don't.
Yes. Wear any colour but cream, pale beige or white. There are thousands of colours one can wear to wedding and thousands of occasions where cream is more appropriate, so leave the cream dress for another occasion.
I believe so..,your just the guest not the bride.
YES ITS THE BRIDES DAY NOT YOURS
    Not at all.

At my son's wedding,Which was Black and White, except for the flowers, I wore a nice cream suit just below the knee, And the bride's mother also wore a cream colored dress with lace. We all looked great, and we didn't plan it that way. Everyone was happy.

P.S. The guests didn't do the black and white.
No i don't think so, but it is if u wear a white dress.

  • What eyeshadow should i wear with a cream and black dress?

I'm thinking black and gold but i'm not sure whether to do gold on the iner eye and black on the outter OR gold on the lid and black close to the lash line :S help! What eyeshadow should i wear with a cream and black dress?
try beige, cream or gold eyeshadow (preferably glittery)and then do a strip along the lash line in black . that will look sick!also do black on your lower lid but on the insideWhat eyeshadow should i wear with a cream and black dress?
since your dress seems to be rather plain in color, it is okay to go a little wilder on the eye shadow. try a purple or green!
Why not do a few ';test runs'; before the event and see which look you like the best?

If your dress and the accessories you plan on wearing with the dress are very flashy and attention-getting, I'd stick with a neutral face. If the dress is more modest you could do a more dramatic face.

Either way, pick one feature and play it up. Natural nudes, browns, tans on eyes and classic red lips always looks sophisticated and you can't go wrong. Or if you're more of an eye makeup person, do dramatic smokey eyes in chocolate, plums and greys, and keep your lips in a nude color or a soft rosy natural color.
i had the same color dress for one of my school dances, so i went to a professional to get some tips on how to do my make up. use soft colors such as a shimmery white on the lid or a goldish tone. for your eyeliner just use a thin tip black color and DONT use to much, it will draw to much attention to your eyes. use two coats of black mascara and that should do it. for ur lips use a glossy pink. i hope this advice works for u cuz it worked for me!
how bout a pale purple or silver
    good luck
Depends on the shape of your eye but generally keeping the darker shades to the outer part of the eye is more flattering to most people. if you put very dark colours inside the eye (especially near the nose) it can look like you're bruised or your eyes are too close together or you can look hung over. Or all three. Not a great look. So unless you want the badgirl been-up-all-night-up-to-no-good- look I would go for the gold on the inner.
black eye liner and a cream colored eye shadow or white
I have two ansers for that . you see my best friends always come to me for makeup and then they told me about this so i decided to try to help other people ok lets start .

first put black eyeliner on youre eyes make sure its very black .

then lightly touch the eye with a little bit of a oeach eye colour after that take some beige and put it over the peach and voila you have youre new peachy beige colour perfect for youre dress
I agree with runnergirlterri. I'd go with a plum color to accent the eyes. Don't pick eye shadow to go with your clothes (it's so 80s) but rather your skin tone and to accent your eye color. Plum colors are generally good on any skin tone (though don't go too dark if you're fair-skinned) and make brown eyes and green eyes really POP.
no no no no!!!!!!!!! put on watever color will match ur skintone or compliments ur eye color. dont draw too much attention to ur eyes
make your eyes pop a tad. But make shure the dress is the first thing every body sees. make your eye lashes long and flowy. Use deep nuterals on your eyelid to make your eyes look smoky. Then add some lighter tans from your arch to your brow.

    Good luck.
neutral colors like the browns, golds, creams..... and line your eyes with black eyeliner and make sure to do loads of mascara.

gold eyeshadow would be good too but really it's preference; it doesnt have to match the colors of your dress!
i think black eyeliner(liquid on top, pencil on bottom-try lava liner from too faced, its a pencil but goes on looking like liquid-sephora.com) with a skin toned eyeshadow, a little sparkly. bare essentials has great eyeshadow!
I would wear a creamy matte beige on my eyelid, and put black in the crease and blend, blend, blend, then line with the black as well. If it's a semi-formal or formal event, line all around your eye, even the corner, with the black. Or, just skip the black in the crease and line your eye after applying the creamy beige shadow. beware the gold if you're taking pictures, it'll make you look like a disco ball. If you smoke your eye, go with a gloss. If you just line, a bolder lip is ok.
You could do the gold on the inner eye and black on the outer or even go with a misty mauve on the inner and a charcoal on the outer... many colors you could use with black and cream.
common rule is that your eyeshadow should never match your dress exactly... try a brown or earthtone shades since your dress is black and gold
Gold eyeshadow and black at the corners with brown or black mascara, eyeliner
black eyeliner and tanned coloured eyeshadow

black mascara and tanned or beidge coloured eyeshadow

    peachy or a warm yellow would also look nice if your up 4 it :%26gt;
Do black on the lid, and gold close to the lash line.

Wearing an ivory/cream dress to my cousins wedding?

Is it rude for me to wear a full length ivory/cream dress, with black lace on the torso to my cousins wedding?

its not white, its like an ivory color

I don't want her to get mad or feel offended, would it be ok if i wore it?Wearing an ivory/cream dress to my cousins wedding?
Hmmm....I've always known it to be bad etiquette to wear those sort of colours to a wedding (especially with it being full length), but maybe just ask your cousin what she thinks...?Wearing an ivory/cream dress to my cousins wedding?
Oooh, I'd double check. My mother-in-law wanted to wear a white outfit, and even though I was wearing Ivory, I HATED the idea of that. White and light colors like that are ';reserved'; traditionally for the bride. Unless the bride wants people to wear those colors, I would double check with her. I, personally, didn't like the idea of ANYONE wearing white or ivory or cream.
I think you should be on the safe side and not wear it. Ivory is too close to white. Also, a full lenght dress is more like a gown and again, too much like a wedding gown. Find something a little less bride like just to be safe. You'd feel awful if she was upset by it on her big day.
just dont wear it... it's usually thought of as innapropriate... and even if you ask, how's that gonna make her feel? if she says no, then she's the rude one, but she may actually care yet say it's ok to spare your feelings, which would obviously be horrible. it's better to be safe than sorry.
As long as it has a lot of black, I would say it is OK. But there are Bridezillas out there that will look for anything to ruin their day, and you may just be the target. I would wear it though.
I don't think it is ok to wear an ivory/cream dress to any wedding because it takes the attention away from the bride and it her big day it may hurt her feelings. Hope I helped.
you can choose a prom dress,

    http://www.kanaccasbridal.com/shopdispla鈥?/a>
Yes, it is well known as something not to do. You can't help but notice someone in white/cream/ivory on that day. Don't do it. Give her her day.
Maybe, guest usually wear something with colour. Why don't you ask the bride for her opinion.
You can ask her what she would prefer. If it were me, I wouldn't care as long as it isn't a gown ;~)

I'm not that much into tradition.
Something full length ivory/cream might be iffy. I'd have to say better safe than sorry and find something else.
    Don't do it..it's disrespectful..people should know better
Don't do it. Any shade of white is not appropriate for a wedding.
I wouldn't chance it. What if her dress is Ivory??
It might be... do you have a picture of it??

What color of shoes to wear with cream/gold dress ?

'Karen Millen coctail dress' - I was thinking about gold or black shoes and black accessories. What color of shoes to wear with cream/gold dress ?
black would loook too bold against the dress. silver accesorries would be a nice pop but as for shoes. if the dress is predominately gold, try a gold sandal, or if its predominately cream, go with a white sandal or cream. but with the white/cream sandal don go TOO strappy. if its gold, a strappy sandal would look good, a gladiator sandal would look great if the dress is above or falls just below the knee. do you have a picture perhaps then i could actually tell you which shoes look best, %26amp; give pictures of examples. What color of shoes to wear with cream/gold dress ?
i think black, or gray would be pretty, because gold would be to much, and then have black accessories
It really depends on the dress but neutral skin colors are totally cute, and sometimes a pop of color is great too! Like an emerald green or deep purple : )
I presume this is the dress and omg what a pretty dress it is. You could do black with black accessories, but you could do a light gold or taupe too.
    Red or purple
Neutrals are great for shoes, but if you want to play up the color go with something that would pop. You can wear silver, unless the dress already has shine to it, you can wear a suttle red shoe, or a deep navy blue. Good luck and i hope this helped!
Gold or maybe a bone? I would not wear black.
Black it goes with everything or white.
i would say black would look the best black really compliments gold well
    Black.
Not BLACK; It would be too much:) Gold would be too matchy matchy. I think you should do a white or a nice matte teal color:)

What color tights should I wear if Im wearing a magenta colored dress with cream colored booties?

You'd want to go more basic since you already have a pop of color with the dress. Wear black or grey tights. What color tights should I wear if Im wearing a magenta colored dress with cream colored booties?
Cream-colored tights will match your boots and elongate your legs. This trick can be used by wearing shoes the same color as your skin (if bare) or the same color as the pants you're wearing.

A black will look good as well, and a gray shade might look good also. Since I have not seen the dress, I'm not really sure, but I think it will work out well.

I would go for a nice red. I would not go fo a pastels as with a cream dress it would look very bland. What color nail polish to go with a cream-colored prom dress and sparkly silver shoes?
    RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most nails tech do a very good job at matching colours let them decide
If u really want to shine, choose light gold colour, near to champagne colour.. or silver pearl colour is nice, be sure to put top coat as shiny sparkles.. so it will really look outstanding %26amp; pretty
if you really want to go for something different, i would go with a dark purple or black. it would contrast good with the light dress and shoes. i LOVE covergirl in scarlet letter..
A beautiful rich, DARK red on toes and fingers... almost a maroon, or a wine red... but not so dark that it looks black, there needs to be noticeable red visible.

Bright red looks much too gaudy. While the ';manicured'; look is classy and elegant, I think the red will really pack a punch against your neutral-toned gown and shoes.

Whatever colour you choose, have a great time!
nice light pink or french manicure, this 2 could never be wrong=)

or you can also wear hot red, to add color n vibe!!!
hey look ... 1st of all hv a manicure ... den i think u must apply a light pink colour shade ... coz like u hv a cream dress ... and it very elegant ... so the nailpolish shud also be elegant ??? not tooo much dark or too much light ??
Cerro oyster shell for hands, apply more layers to feet so it looks darker.
I like a bold color on the toe and a neutral on the hand, so I would go with either a nude colored fingernail polish or french manicure and with the feet I would do something vibrant but feminine, so think in terms of pinks or reds. but definatly neutral on the fingernails.
Go for the French look on both hands and feet
    barely pink w/ rhinestones/french manicure
I'd definitely consider just wearing a clear polish to make 'em beautiful and shiny. You could also consider white nail diamantes, they look fantastic and they'd compliment your silver shoes quite well as long as you stick them on properly and take care not to rub them off. :] And as somebody above said, you can never go wrong with a French manicure. ;] Very simple and sexy.

Wear a black or brown mascara(available practically anywhere)

A peachy or tan blush will look great with it.

To top off the look wear a spiced rum, mocha, moonfleet,or sandpiper(http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a> or http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>My homecoming is this Saturday I'm wearing a light cream pink dress i wanna no what makeup i should wear.?
you could do a light, simple eyeshadow/lipgloss thing, and definetley some eyeliner, light colors are the key.
I'd say silver eye make-up, keep it light and pretty with no heavy black eyeliner or anything. Maybe grey eyeliner with sparkly silver eyeshadow would look so gorgeous, try to make it smokey and pretty and fairly subtle. Practice a few times before the day to get your technique perfect!
Maybe some goldy browns/bronzes for the eyes and keep the lip neutral with a slick of gloss?
If you want a more dramatic look, do smokey eyes (black eyeliner, gray eyeshadow with black mascara and a shimerry lip gloss). For a more subtle look, just do a pink or purple eyeshadow with black mascara.

  • What colour shoes go with coffee/cream coloured dress?

I have an evening dress that is light coffee, nearly cream coloured and I will probably wear strappy shoes I am just not sure what colour will suitWhat colour shoes go with coffee/cream coloured dress?
I think black would look too harsh. You could go with silver or gold high-heeled sandals and a matching clutch to offset the neutral tones of the dress. What colour shoes go with coffee/cream coloured dress?
Depending on the undertones of the dress a silver or gold metallic shoe would probably work.

You might also try a dark brown pair if it has a high heel and is really strappy (so it doesn't overpower the dress).

Depending on the style of the dress, a really bold color (like garnet or scarlet) might look stunning.

Is it okay to wear a cream and black dress to a Jewish evening garden wedding?

The dress has a cream base with black lace overlay. It has a full skirt, hits mid-knee, and is on the conservative side.

Is it okay to wear a cream and black dress to a Jewish evening garden wedding?
You typically dont want to wear black to any wedding, but since it's not all black and it is an evening wedding, it should be okay.Is it okay to wear a cream and black dress to a Jewish evening garden wedding?
I have never been to a Jewish evening wedding, either, but based on your description of the dress, there shouldn't be a problem with wearing it. Guests just wear whatever they want to anyway so go for it.
Our Brethen, the Jew's, have the same sort of ';rules of etiquette'; as the rest of us. Sounds like the dress would be just fine. Don't worry and have a good time.
I have never been to a Jewish evening garden wedding, but I would say yes!

I just bought a cream sweater dress, do you think I should wear it to school?

It's a long sleeved, cowl-necked sweater dressed (cream coloured) it's too long to wear with skinny jeans , do you think it would be appropriate for 1st day back @ school, with leggings and black leather wedge boots. thx.I just bought a cream sweater dress, do you think I should wear it to school?
    Try it with:

1] cream tights and brown or caramel boots

2] hose and brown or black heels

    3] tights and flats

Add a skinny belt that matches the shoes.I just bought a cream sweater dress, do you think I should wear it to school?
yes wear it!!!! itll look fabulous peace out lol
    maybe
Sounds like a really hot dress! lol

The thing is, can you really imagine going back to school looking like this? http://bp2.blogger.com/_GoiZyycwNHE/R3MV鈥?/a>

I think the cream sweater look is more of a ';going out'; look. Save it for shopping days, dates, and parties. Perhaps you can wear it like Ms Cameron without any leggings. How sexy is this?? http://bp1.blogger.com/_GoiZyycwNHE/RzEt鈥?/a>

Now the exception is if you're a college city girl, then I can see you wearing the outfit. Otherwise i'd skip it :)
Wear flats, it's more appropriate for school.
that sounds pretty cute to me!! you should wear it!
yea, of course you should wear it. you have no idea how long i've been looking for a decent looking cowl-sweater dress. i bought one a while ago, and i can't wear it now because it barely covers my ***.
I think that sounds a little dressy for school.
i woulnt wear those boots..maybe flats instead
that sounds really cute! i personally would put really bright leggings underneath for an extra punch of color and style, but that's just me. good luck :)
HAIL 2 THE YEHH so cute maybe different shoes though........flats???
oooooooooooo yeah girlll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! put it with a long neclace. hey where did you get it could you tell me it sounds cute!!!

    email- christine8295x@yahoo.com
I would go with a different color shoe..unless you are wearing a belt around your middle that matches...maybe try a dark brown heel boot

This is a very pretty 20's/30's looking silk bias cut dress. It's a summer dress so black is out. My wedding dress is cream, my bridesmaids are chocolate, what type of flowers and colours could i use?

I would like to use silk not white, not multicoloured flowers either. Any Ideas im getting married in november??? Genuine Answers only please. My wedding dress is cream, my bridesmaids are chocolate, what type of flowers and colours could i use?
My daughter had silk flowers made to go on pins in her hair by a company online called silk specialities. Have a look at their site as the flowers are truly amazing. You could use orange to add a bit of colour or even lavendar. Stephanotis looks really nice and lily of the valley with orchidsMy wedding dress is cream, my bridesmaids are chocolate, what type of flowers and colours could i use?
Personally I would use oranges. Anything too pale, such as pinks or apricots, may wash out against your cream dress. A brighter orange will definitely punch up the cream and the brown as well. Here's some examples:

I love the idea of pink oriental lilies.

If you don't like pink lilies pink roses would also look nice as would apricot (as long as they did not wash out your dress).

An orchid bouquet would also be stunning, and they come in lots of colours. Pinks, purples, even greens would look gorgeous.

I always think pale pink and chocolate look lovely together. I am having black, silver and Ivory.....surprisingly gorgeous! Depending on time of the year, burnt orange and brown is very effective also.

    Good luck.
Sunflower yellow and chocolate brown. Those are the colors I am using and they are great fall colors. As far as flowers use Sunflowers and/or Black-eyed Susans. They encourporate both colors! Congrats and best wishes!
Fall is a great time to get married. You could use any fall flower. Mums are nice. they come in many forms. Daisy, cushion or spider. and in beautiful colors this time of year. Mix a few fall color roses in yours.
Congrats...love the colors... ofcourse these are the same colors as I have chosen for our wedding so I'm a little partial to them. Here is what we are doing.

    Good luck!
Maybe some peach colored roses with yellow tips would be nice. Any colors that would also look good would be shades of yellow or orange.
orchids or lilies maybe, white roses with brown roses (tetra nostra roses) or white flowers with a few chocolate cosmos thrown in? maybe?
Bright Lime Green! It is beautiful and elegant and simple and goes perfect with chocolate and cream.
    Orange should do....

What color nails with a dress with cream bottom and black on top?

There is more cream than black and most of my accessories are black. What color nails with a dress with cream bottom and black on top?
I was just in my salon, during Prom time and saw a very pretty polish job. It was airbrushed and the base color was more ivory than white and then the prettiest black kind of scroll designs were dawn in on top, like feathery. Then, there were some tiny silver dots put on. Each nail was like a little work of art. I didn't think black could look that pretty on nails. What color nails with a dress with cream bottom and black on top?
    get them like this http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=ht鈥?/a>
Do your nails all cream colored. That nail color is in right now! Dont, please dont paint them all black. It will ruin the whole effect of the dress and that trend is getting old. The new dark nail color is navy blue.
French manicure would be very good as it is simple and yet gives your nails pretty look.
Get a french tip manicure with cream instead of white!
clear clean cut or black depending if its a party hard dress.

What do you all think about a cream colored dress as your wedding dress?

I'm getting married at the beach in a wedding chapel and saw this nice cream dress that i liked. I think it's a brides maid dress. Its going to be a very small intimate wedding with no more than 35 family members! Just wanted to get a few opinions. ThanksWhat do you all think about a cream colored dress as your wedding dress?
the traditional ';white wedding'; is kind of cliche these days, and cream is a very classy and beautiful alternative. you sound like someone who appreciates the alternative anyway, having a beach wedding and all! sounds like you, go for it!

and it doesn't have to mean that you've been a naughty girl before your vows either, so nevermind the naysayers! ;)What do you all think about a cream colored dress as your wedding dress?
hey my dress is different too! Go for it!
It's ok. Just make sure it doesn't LOOK like a bridesmaid dress.
I think that the traditional feelings towards wearing white vs cream etc are antiquated.

I certainly agree that any color in that family will be beautiful. Whatever you prefer, my dear... it is your wedding! :)

I wore an ivory mid calf length spaghetti strap one for an outdoor wedding.. it was beautiful and didn't wash my coloring out like a white dress would have.
I think it will be just fine! get it %26amp; have a wonderful wedding!
Sounds beautiful! You definitely want something more casual for your beach wedding :) Do you have a picture we can see?
I that sounds fantastic! I love it when people stick to their theme - since your wedding will be more intimate and on the beach it is only fitting your dress match. Sounds great!
I think its a wonderful idea -- my wedding gown was also a cream color because I felt that white was too bright and would stand out too much in pictures.
As long as you love it! Weddings have come a long way from what they used to be - I've been to a wedding %26amp; the bride wore a pink dress! She looked beautiful %26amp; you will too - CONGRATULATIONS!!!
i think its brilliant! white really doesn't suit bride.

the cream color will be stunning and you will look gorgeous!

have a lovely wedding and an even better marriage!
That makes a whole lot of since, your dress sounds beautiful, and a small and intimate wedding that dress wouldbe perfect to wear on a beach. goood luck.
If you like it that is all that matters. It is your day! Do it how you want to do it!
I think that would be great. Many brides dont wear white anyway even if they have a traditonal wedding gown as they can get them in colors other than ivory and white. Sounds like this dress might be more appropriate and comfortable for the venue you are planning.
This is your wedding, it is your day. If you chose to wear orange, that is up to you. Cream, off-white or any color in that range compliments most skin tones better than white does. It does not matter the type of dress. If you love it, buy it!
That's great for a small wedding!

And some people look better in cream than they do in white.

It doesn't matter if you're one of those people--it's YOUR day. Do what YOU want!
I think that sounds beautiful! It would look great against a seascape!
Sounds elegant. It doesn't have to be a ';wedding gown'; it needs to be something that you feel beautiful in. It doesn't matter what kinda dress it is I am sure you'll be beautiful no matter what.
It's your day...it shouldn't matter what we think!

My aunt got married in a church with a ton of people there, and their dress style was very casual, and it didn't affect the mood or feeling of the day at all!
