Could I wear a cream colored dress to a day time wedding?

My dress is a strapless above the knee. It looks white at first but then you can tell it's not white. It's got an umpire waist. and what makes that umpire waist is a black ribbon.Could I wear a cream colored dress to a day time wedding?
I wouldn't if I were you. Stick with a color and stay clear of white/offwhite/cream/etc.Could I wear a cream colored dress to a day time wedding?
No, it's generally considered a no-no to wear ANY color from the white family (cream,ivory,off-white, etc) to a wedding unless you are the bride. Especially to the ceremony.

BUT - what if you were to add something black to the top of the dress to stop it looking so light and to match in the ribbon at the waist? A sheer black cardigan/jacket would be enough to make this dress appropriate as there would be no way the dress could accidentally look 'bridal' this way.

Good on you for thinking though!
i think it will look nice. and maybe get a little tan. i don't think its taboo to wear this color just cuz the bride is wearing a similar color.
Wear it with a contrast in accessories.....like a coffee colour or a maroon/burgundy colour !!!
Hmmm you could do... depends on whether u think the bride will be bothered though!

Cream is ok - nearly white could turn her into monster bride lol
ah i think on a wedding day you shouldnt wear white unless your the bride.xo
sure... why not...sounds very appropriate to me
