I would go for Gold pumps or metalic off-white sandals or metalic brown. But my best choice is Gold. Metallic is very ';in'; these days either in pumps or gladiator style. Any age or color or size looks good on it.
Can you add a picture of the dress?
I think a brown, a dark brown maybe would go with a cream color.

I would say brown, depending on the shade, but a rich, chocolate brown would probably look great.
