What colour shoes do you wear with Cream dress?

I bought a beige graduation dress with a dark lilac strip in the front that makes a big bow at the back. What colour shoes and bag should a carry? Also, what style of hair should i do for graduation?What colour shoes do you wear with Cream dress?
I actually wore an off-white prom dress my senior year of highschool and took a page out of Cameron Diaz's book by copying a look she wore to a Charlie's Angels premiere and going for white stiletto pumps and a white clutch.





The rule bag + shoes must match is outdated, but if at a loss for what to wear, it can be a helpful guide.

Typically, beige shoes are worn with a beige dress. A friend of mine works for Teen Vogue, and is big into fashion - and whenever she wears a beige dress, she always has on beige/cream colored Manolo Blahniks' to match. Any other color just does not look right. Black shoes would be all right if there wasn't that lilac bow on the dress.





As far as hair goes, I'd go with just loose around your shoulders, styled and just keep it simple.
The ideal color would be beige, or the lilac [ not black, or white! ].


A nude [ skin tone ] shoe also works well.


Shoes should match bag.


Hair for graduation - remember you will be wearing a cap, which will affect style choice.


I suggest top pulled back in a clip/barette; and worn in loose curls, waves, or straight. Pretty!

I would go with dark lilac heels and a light brown purse. Have your hair natural (such as curly, straight, wavy), but just dress it up a bit. You want to remember your graduation as looking good, but still being yourself. Maybe a sophisticated ponytail.
Beige dress - beige shoes and bag. OR you could pick up on the dark lilac strip and have the shoes and bag that color.





But I think I would stick with the beige as you will be able to use them with other outfits.
