How about vinegar pie? In the olden days (1800's), when late winter approached and apples were all used up from the cellars, women baked vinegar pie.

oooohhh....how bout blueberry or cherry cream cheese pie? yummy yummy yummaaayyyy!!!
Blackberry - my absolute favorite. Also peach, rhubarb (a little old-fashioned, but great). mixtures like strawberry/rhubarb, pumpkin, chocolate custard, coconut cream, banana cream, mincemeat and lots of other dessert pies.

There are also ';savory'; pies made with meats and vegtables. There are lots of those.

Tarts are also a kind of pie, A lot of these are made by putting custard cream and fruit on a pre-cooked pastry shell. Some of these are the raspberry and strawberry tarts you see in restaurants. Some tarts, like Tarte Tatin (kind of an open-face apple pie) are baked together with the pastry.

Wow, I'm hungry now!

btw, if you're looking for recipes, try looking for a Maida Heatter cookbook or looking her up on the net. She's the best for desserts - ever.
strawberry rhubarb pie is my favorite.
