No, don't eat it. If it was in the trunk and the temperature was at least 70 degrees, the temperature in the trunk would have been more than that. Throw it a way and go buy another one.

When in doubt , throw it out.

It is better than getting sick.

Good luck and try not to leave any more food in the car.

....cya....PEACE....I bought a frozen pie (boston cream) and i accidentally left it in the trunk for 2 days .. if i refreeze it..?
With it getting up to 70F you are asking for food poisoning by trying to eat it.
Well said, TMIN. At 70, the temp in the trunk was at least 90 for extended periods of time. Bacteria already started growing in the dairy product. Chunk it or have your insurance card handy cause you will be going to the hospital.
Bad idea to refreeze it or for that matter even consider eating it... why don't you just call this one a draw and just throw it in the garbage where it belongs?
If anything has defrosted, do not refreeze it (except for ice cubes). In this case, I don't even think it is safe to eat. The filling has eggs in it, right? It wouldn't risk it. It's not worth a night in the hospital with food poisoning.
you will get food poisoning.
You need to throw that out. Sorry. It's already got fungus growing in it, due to it's milk and egg base. If you eat it now or serve it to anybody now, they'll get food poisoning. It needed to be refridgerated and 50-70 degrees is a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi.
no.
